This hasn’t come as a surprise as sales for tickets to see the Mother Monster on her ‘Born This Way Ball’ went crazy and sold out within minutes.

This brings the total number of UK gigs to three, with two nights at the Twickenham Stadium on 8 and 9 September and one night at the Manchester Arena on 11 September. There will be a final night in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on 15 September.

The Queen of Pop is certainly in high demand as the two dates in London and Manchester sold out within ten minutes forcing the star to add a second London show.

It was reported that two million fans tried to get hold of the 75,000 tickets for the original UK shows of ‘Born This Way Ball’ which will also feature Lady Starlight and The Darkness.

Fingers crossed that Gaga will add another date to her Manchester visit enabling the top half of the country to also enjoy a second night at the  Manchester Arena, to be fair there are four days between the Manchester gig and her Dublin show!

The mighty wrestlers from the world of WWE will be visiting the UK in November with their SmackDown World Tour.

Big Show is a fierce competitor who likes to intimidate his opponents with his size and stare alone. Weighing in at 441 pounds, standing a mighty seven feet tall and a chest measurement of 64 inches he is definitely going to be making crater sized impressions in the ring.

Mark Henry is the World’s Strongest Slam. He first came on the scene following the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, where he competed in the super-heavyweight division. Three years later he won the gold, silver and bronze at the Pan American Games. He has been with WWE for 15 year and stands at a terrifying 6ft 4inches high.

Nicknamed as the ‘Jerk’ Christian Bio has been proving his worth at WWE from day one. ‘Captain Charisma’ as he is also known has a knack for wowing the WWE Universe by executing innovative and high-profiled maneuvers and has certainly cemented his rep as a top-tier superstar.

The Vaccines will be joining the band when they stopover in Galway on 9th June.

Lady Gaga disappoints UK fans

The Mother Monster decided to use Twitter to confirm hat she has added 21 dates in Europe to her’ Born This Way Ball’ 2012 world tour, but only two of those dates are in the UK.

Gaga will be making her brief visit to the UK on 8 September at the Twickenham Stadium and 11 September see her drop in at the MEN in Manchester, before heading for Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on 15 September.

Nickelback add extra date for UK tour

Due to a huge demand for Nickelback tickets in London, the Canadian rockers have now added a second date to their time in the capital.

The ‘Here & Now’ tour kicks off at the O2 Arena in London on October 1, which then returns to play the Wembley Arena on October 8.

The Canadian award winning rock band have had a lot of bad press in the US  after a petition was created to ban Nickelback from playing the halftime show at the NFL Packers v Lions game on Thanksgiving.

But their European fans prove that Chad and his friends are most welcome over this side of the pond and show their support in snapping up their ‘Here & Now’ tour tickets within hours of going on sale.

The Juno Award rockers are extremely proud to announce the extra date in London this year, which is reported to be the biggest European tour of 2012.

The undefeated darts player who is back to his very best managed to join forces with his fellow Premier League professionals to record the single for the Haven House Children’s Hospice in Essex.

The eight darts players which include Andy Hamilton, Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade are to perform the track live on stage at the final night of the competition on 17 May at the O2 Arena in London. It will then be released on iTunes the following day.

Phil Taylor said “It’s been great fun recording with Chas and the band, and hopefully the record will raise lots of money for Haven House.”

The darts player said that it will be as popular as the reigning darts anthem ‘Chase The Sun’ “It’s a brilliant tune, really catchy, and I’m sure when people hear the song they’ll be singing along like we’ve all been”, reported The Daily Mail.

But the threat of legal proceedings hangs over their heads as the founding member of New Order Peter Hook has instigated legal proceedings against his band to stop them using the name New Order.
