Greatest Hits and Forest Tour 2011

2011, is set for a very special tour, that being the Massive 80′s/90′s band Simple Minds. They are headlining the Forestry Commission’s Forest Tour 2011, with special guest James Walsh from Starsailor.

Simple minds shot to stardom with their singles ‘Alive and Kicking’, ‘Sanctify Yourself’, ‘Don’t You, ‘I Promised You A Miracle’, ‘Waterfront’ and ‘Belfast Child’. And once established, Simple Minds grew to be followed by a global audience, and with their albums including ‘Sparkle In the Rain’, ‘Once Upon A Time’ and ‘Street Fighting Years’, which all went to No.1 in the UK charts, certainly rewarded them the status that they deserved worldwide.

Their tour starts from Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest in Kent on Friday 10th June 2011 and will finish at Delamere Forest on Sunday the 3rd July 2011.

These gigs are growing every year and the bands seem to get bigger and better, the settings are mind blowing. Take Cannock Chase, Rugeley in Staffordshire, for example on Saturday 25th June. A fantastic setting, deep into Cannock Chase, but oh so easy to get to with main roads and trains leading directly to Stoke On Trent, Birmingham and Wolverhampton. What are you waiting for?
