John Bishop Sits Uncomfortably.

John Bishop has gone from strength to strength just recently, and is one of the UK’s most loved and high profile comedians.This Liverpudlian stand-up comic can do no wrong and has been a guest on many hit television shows over the past few months, including 8 Out Of Ten Cats, Live At the Apollo and a League Of There Own.

But it was his appearance as host on BBC 1 Have I Got News For You, that I was really looking forward to seeing. What a disappointment, John Bishop started off very well, until he was made to feel very uncomfortable by Ian Hislop (who really does seem just lately to be more cynical than ever) and Paul Merton who were the prime suspects.

Yes I know that is what they do and that is what they are best at. I don’t think that some of the comment’s about his accent, they way he talks and lack of education were called for and clearly took the wind out of John Bishops sails, l really felt quite uncomfortable watching it all unfold! John Bishop found it very difficult to pull it back, but he slowly regained his composure and carried on like a professional entertainer.
