Elton John’s Greenhous Meadow Tickets Snapped up

Greenhous Meadow Stadium in Shrewsbury, is over the moon at the response to a concert held by Rock Star Elton John, they have been suprised at the amount of  hospitality packages sold when the lines opened yesterday.

There are 550 hospitality packages on offer, which include a four-course dinner and a bar, nearly half of these tickets were snapped up by the people of Shrewsbury and Shropshire by lunchtime yesterday.

Thousands of regular tickets had been sold, and many enquiries for Elton Johns concert were being answered all day. Sir Elton John has never before appeared in Shrewsbury, although he has appeared at other stadiums around the Midlands.  It seems that the people of Shrewsbury have embraced the rare chance to see Sir Elton John perform live in the new Greenhous Meadow Stadium, home to Shrewsbury Town Football Club.

Sir Elton John will be performing in Shrewsbury on the 12th June 2011.
