Due to phenomenal demand, Rogers Waters ‘The Wall Live’ Tour has added extra dates to the London O2 amd MEN Arena in Manchester.
Most dates are now sold out apart from the 15th 17th and 18th May 2011 at the O2 Arena and the two extra dates 28th and 29th June 2011 at the MEN Arena in Manchester.
Roger Waters will be performing his rock opera “The Wall” in a series of concerts which started in Toronto, Canada, then touring
North Western American including Canada, USA and Mexico in 2010. He will then perform the European leg starting in March 2011 in Portugal and end his touring schedule in Dusseldorf, Germany in June 2011.
But, the rock music icon from Pink Floyd has been criticized recently by The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in New York for using imagery long associated with stereotypes about Jews and money as part his live performance which they say takes aim at Israel’s West Bank security fence. According to The Rolling Stone Magazine, animated images of planes dropping bombs in the shape of Jewish Stars of David followed by dollar signs, are being projected during the performances of “Goodbye Blue Sky,”
