Extra Dates Added For “The War Of The Worlds Alive On Stage”
Published on September 29, 2010 by Eventsbabe · No CommentsDue to phenomenal demand, Jeff Wayne’s musical version of The War Of The Worlds, Alive On Stage, have added three more extra dates to the major arena’s around the UK.
Bournemouth have added an extra date on the 11th December 2010, the 15th December sees an extra date at the Cardiff CIA and The Brighton Centre have an extra date on Friday 17th December 2010.
After selling out in arenas throughout the UK in 2006, Jeff Wayne will once again be conducting the 10-piece Black Smoke Band and 36-piece ULLAdubULLA Strings, with star guests Jason Donavan, Atomic Kitten’s Liz McClarnon, Moody Blues’ Jason Hayward and a surprise performer playing the challenging part of Parson Nathaniel is the X Factor sensation, Welsh singer Rydian. Rydian has changed his shock of white hair to the dark haired Parson who loses faith in humanity in the face of apocalyptic Martian destruction.
War Of The Worlds On UK Tour
This show is mixed live and has a 100 foot wide screen, projecting a two hour long animated film, with a 3 tonne 35 foot tall Martian Fighting Machine, that fires heat rays, an 11-foot high floating 3D hologram of Richard Burton, no wonder Jeff Waynes’ “War Of The Worlds” has made a dramatic comeback for 2010 and 2011.
