“I laughed so much, lager came out of my nose.” The Sunday Times.
With a write up like this it is no wonder that Al Murray was asked by ITV to do two performances of Audience with… being one of the few stand-up comedians to be asked by ITV, he happily obliged with surrounding success.
Al Murray is well known for his alter ego’ The Pub Landlord’ and won the ITV British Comedy Award for his series, Al Murray’s Happy Hour, for which Al was famous for his no nonsense approach to his celebrity guests.
Al’s sitcom on Sky One ‘Time Gentleman Please’, has become something of a modern day cult classic and his new series for ITV1, ‘Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder’, has seen him introduce a whole host of new characters and demonstrate his vast comedic range.
Al Murray is due on his tour of the UK from 5th October 2010, starting at St. Davids Hall in Cardiff.
If you can’t wait, then Al Murray is performing warm-up gigs throughout September, but are mostly sold out so check those dates and book those tickets!
