Set in the stunning Grounds of the West Mid Showground, in the beautiful town of Shrewsbury, the Shrewsbury Folk Festival is arguably one of the best in the UK.
This takes place on the 27th,28th,29th and 30th August 2010.
Along with well known folksters Billy Bragg, Adrain Edmondson and the Bad Shephards and Bellowhead, there are so many other things to see and do.
Dance along with the Ceilidh Bands and Morris Teams, and why not get your children to take part in the singaround sessions, workshops and Refolkus which is aimed at 12 – 25 year olds.
If that inst enough, stay all weekend on the great camp-site, and taste the food caterers have to offer and, yes there is a real ale tent, thank god!!
